Don't miss your chance to witness a true Blues & Soul living music legend! In his hometown Jim is called “the GEM of San Francisco.” He is a well-known San Francisco Bay Area singer. His career in the music business spans 5 decades. He first recorded in his teens, as the lead singer in an R&B group. He toured throughout the southern states of America. He has performed at the famed San Francisco Fillmore Auditorium with Albert King, Joe Tex and others. Jim then moved into the Blues and Jazz arena. He honed his skills at Bop City, Soulville, The Cellar, Sugar Hill, The Jazz Workshop and the famed BlackHawk Night Club, performing with Oscar Peterson, George Sharinn, Herby Hancock and opening for Ester Phillips and Carmen McCray. He has toured Canada, Brazil, Trinidad, Saint Lucius, Japan, and Korea, performed in the Monterey Jazz Festival, the San Francisco Fillmore Jazz Festival, the Sausalito Blues Festival, and he’s now in Bali, at Cubana Bar & Grill for our humble pleasure.
