Our Pumpkin-Chili chocolate truffles are approaching perfection, so we thought it's time to spread the word... We're taking our Batur Edible Landscape (BEL) concept to a new level: a fair featuring a farmer's market of local produce as well as pickles, sambals, and conserves. We're going PC in many ways. Celebrating Pumpkin and Cashews (and chillies!) in its fresh as well as Pickled & Conserved forms. Villages to the north & east of the ancient Batur caldera (Songan, Tianyar & Munti Gunung to name a few) have had a bumper crop of cashews and have been improving their processing technology, so we'll be highlighting this amazing organic ingredient. In anticipation of guests going nuts over them, we're processing and packaging in decent batches. Do help spread the word. Halloween is coming soon, so we'll be giving every child (under 13) a pumpkin each to decorate as they please. There will be a lot of fun and games including face painting too. Adults are invited to watch the edible landscape unfolding, enjoy the live music by Deep Sea Explorers, or sit back and relax while enjoying a cocoa butter hand & foot reflexology massage (back by popular demand!). There will be stands offering the pickles, sambals and conserves with sample platters, as well as food stalls offering Kintamani specialties and BEL specialties featuring our star ingredients at an affordable price. Sunset onwards, after we dedicate BEL to the goddess, we invite all to partake in the dessert spread featuring pumpkin, cashews (& some chillies). We've had confirmation from farmers from Pupuan to Batur they're going to come with their fresh herbs so do bring your shopping baskets! Looking forward to hosting you,
